A Salute to the Mighty Eighth !

Its a close race between "The Longest Day" and this all time aviation classic. The 1949 classic, Tweleve O'Clock High, with Mr Peck in the lead role as Gen Frank Savage.Great film that deals with the topic of leadership and stress in combat. Glad it finally came out on DVD for younger generations to watch and enjoy. Used today in all the service schools in the US and many Fortune 500 Companies , as a teaching tool to discuss leadership. I get something new out of the film each time I watch it. The top film when it comes to the airwar in Europe. Guess its still my alltime favorite moive, then we will put " The Longest Day" a close second! ( yes I know its a 1962 production) There is some talk here in the states about releasing the 1960s ABC Tv series , 12 O'Clock High to DVD....hope so !

           Thanks !
